Project Director – Barroso Lithium Project

About the role

The Barroso Lithium Project is entering its construction phase and seeks a senior Project Director to lead the safe, disciplined delivery of the processing plant, supporting infrastructure and water management systems. Reporting to senior management, you will oversee the end‑to‑end execution from site mobilisation through commissioning and handover to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the integrated delivery of the Barroso Lithium Project, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Manage execution of processing plant works, non‑process infrastructure, utilities, access roads, earthworks and owner‑managed activities.
• Drive construction readiness planning, including execution strategy, sequencing, mobilisation and contractor readiness.
• Monitor and audit contractor performance, progress, cost, productivity and schedule, and validate claims.
• Ensure compliance with design, specifications, permits, statutory obligations, environmental commitments and financing requirements.
• Identify and resolve performance, cost, schedule or interface issues promptly.
• Coordinate stakeholder interfaces and prepare the project for a smooth handover to operations.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in large‑scale industrial or mining construction projects.
• Strong focus on safety, cost control and schedule discipline.
• Excellent interface and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to ensure construction quality and operational readiness.
