Production Operator

About the role

Under the guidance of the Manufacturing Facilitator, you will operate non‑complex production equipment, assemble, package and inspect medical‑device products on a high‑volume line. The role includes on‑the‑job training of new associates and participation in continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and perform assembly, packaging, and in‑line inspection according to approved procedures.
• Receive, verify, and document materials to ensure compliance with data forms and approvals.
• Inspect work continuously, remove defective parts, and report deviations immediately.
• Record production data legibly and accurately following GMP requirements.
• Assist the Shift Leader with raw‑material, work‑in‑process, and product reconciliation.
• Support the Set‑up Operator with equipment changeovers, preventive maintenance, and routine issue resolution.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and contribute to cost‑reduction goals.

Required profile

• High‑school graduate with the ability to read and write in English and Spanish.
• Six months to one year experience in production, preferably in pharmaceutical or medical‑device manufacturing.
• Physical ability to stand most of the time, walk short distances, lift up to 25 lb, and perform light manual tasks.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GMP procedures.
• Understanding of QSR and ISO 13485 compliance.
• Proficiency in operating production equipment and performing preventive maintenance.
