Production Lead

About the role

The Production Lead drives operational efficiency in a manufacturing environment, overseeing Production Supervisors and coordinating daily activities. This role focuses on workflow optimization, waste elimination, and embedding Lean practices to improve safety, quality, and cost performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate production plans, maintenance schedules, and daily operations.
• Lead and develop Production Supervisors to ensure performance, accountability, and results.
• Implement Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
• Monitor production performance, track KPIs, and align outcomes with business goals.
• Drive training and certification programs to build team capability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, FDA, and environmental regulations.
• Promote 6S workplace organization standards and operational discipline.
• Partner with Operations, CI, and leadership teams to solve problems and improve processes.
• Act as deputy to the Production & CI Manager, supporting reporting and project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Science, or 6–8 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Lean Black Belt certification.
• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with knowledge of process improvement and CI methodologies.
• Ability to drive change, influence stakeholders, and lead in a fast‑paced setting.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
