Product Manufacturing Manager – Industrialization Lead

About the role

The Product Manufacturing Manager will shape the industrialisation strategy for the full product lifecycle, acting as the bridge between manufacturing engineering and business units. You will ensure cost‑efficient, scalable and high‑quality production solutions that drive value creation and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive industrialisation strategies in close collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Lead make‑or‑buy decisions and evaluate cost‑effective sourcing options.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to identify optimal manufacturing solutions (cost, quality, timing).
• Analyse customer requirements and translate them into manufacturing and economic concepts.
• Identify risks early and define mitigation strategies.
• Act as the key interface for manufacturing‑related customer topics.
• Support industrial ramp‑ups and ensure smooth hand‑over to project teams.
• Monitor and track cost optimisation initiatives such as value analysis.
• Ensure alignment between manufacturing strategy and plant allocation across the product lifecycle.
• Support series production through volume planning and escalation handling.
• Contribute to end‑of‑series strategies considering production and supplier impacts.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
