Process Engineer II

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Process Engineer II to develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes that deliver safe, high‑quality medical products. You will work within a cross‑functional team to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support continuous‑improvement initiatives across our production sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and sustaining engineering support for manufacturing operations.
• Recommend and implement equipment and process modifications to meet quality standards and improve yields.
• Integrate equipment and material capabilities to achieve target specifications for process modules.
• Review product development requirements for compatibility with manufacturing methods.
• Collaborate with product design, quality, operations, and supply‑chain teams to ensure process‑design alignment.
• Lead innovation, development, and optimization of new manufacturing concepts and procedures for transfer to production.
• Develop and document manufacturing processes, including statistical process control methods.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods, equipment, and quality systems.
• Experience with data‑driven process improvement and statistical analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functional teams.
