Private Debt Credit Analyst

About the role

The Private Debt Credit Analyst will support the Credit Management function within SPG PDF, working closely with a permanent analyst to evaluate leveraged loan assets. The role involves reviewing investment memos, interacting with clients, and preparing credit assessments and reports.

Key responsibilities

• Review leveraged loan assets, analyse investment memoranda and produce synthetic summaries.
• Participate in virtual client meetings to discuss asset performance.
• Complete internal rating forms and assist in quarterly and annual asset reviews.
• Aggregate and analyse data, create PowerPoint presentations with tables and graphs.
• Monitor client reporting throughout the life of facilities and respond to internal data requests.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience in credit analysis of leveraged companies.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail, with excellent written and spoken English.
• University degree in Management, Finance, Business or Engineering.
• Understanding of banking operations is a plus.

Required skills

• Financial data analysis and credit quality estimation.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Familiarity with Dealogic, Bloomberg or Intex platforms.
• Experience preparing internal rating forms and credit reports.
