Principal Project Manager

About the role

The Principal Project Manager will lead and coordinate high‑impact, cross‑functional projects for CooperVision in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico. This full‑time onsite role ensures that each project’s scope, schedule, budget, and risks are effectively managed while aligning with the company’s strategic vision and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced leadership, planning, and coordination for complex, high‑visibility initiatives.
• Define and govern project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management.
• Develop strategic vendor partnerships in collaboration with Global Sourcing.
• Act as primary liaison between senior management, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and prioritization.
• Partner with regulatory and QA teams to guarantee full compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor team members, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Maintain long‑term customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and business alignment.
• Elevate project‑management maturity by promoting best practices and PMO tools.
• Support strategic planning, project prioritization, and finance/HR cycles for the GTIG organization.

Required profile

• Demonstrated senior‑level leadership with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across functional teams.
• Experience managing complex projects with cross‑functional dependencies.
• Proven ability to develop and sustain strategic vendor and customer relationships.
