PowerBI Developer – Microsoft Fabric & Data Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a skilled PowerBI Developer to join our growing IT consulting team. You will work on end‑to‑end Business Intelligence solutions, leveraging Microsoft Fabric and PowerBI to turn raw data into actionable insights for our clients across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate and onboard new data sources into Microsoft Fabric using internal ingestion and orchestration frameworks.
• Maintain Fabric data platform components, including pipelines, datasets, and semantic models.
• Design, develop and optimise PowerBI reports, dashboards and data models.
• Implement data transformation logic with Power Query (M), SQL and Python.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Produce and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring and validation processes.
• Manage security models such as Row‑Level Security and workspace roles.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or data engineering.
• Strong expertise in the full PowerBI development lifecycle.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M) optimisation.
• Proficiency in SQL and hands‑on experience with Python for data processing.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, pipelines, semantic models).
• Solid understanding of data modelling principles and data architecture concepts.
• Native Portuguese and fluent English communication skills.
