Porto Site Lead – Trust & Safety

About the role

Patreon is seeking a Porto Site Lead to oversee Trust & Safety operations for its European site. The role ensures a healthy safety pipeline during EU hours and coordinates work between the Porto team and U.S. operations. It is based in Porto, Portugal with a hybrid schedule (2 days in‑office).

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the safety pipeline during EU business hours.
• Act as the primary advocate for safety operations in Porto, translating local signals into global actions.
• Chair the Porto Leadership Council and partner with Admin/HR on site‑wide decisions.
• Facilitate seamless collaboration between the Porto site and U.S. Trust & Safety teams.
• Communicate policy changes and operational improvements in clear, plain language.
• Identify and drive process, tooling, and automation enhancements based on site feedback.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in Trust & Safety, risk, operations, or a related field, including regional or site leadership.
• Proven track record of improving operational performance.
• Experience leading teams or sites in the EU/UK region.
• Strong influence skills with ability to work without direct reports.
