Part-Time Commercial Driver

About the role

AutoZone is seeking a part‑time Commercial Driver to join its store team. You will use company‑provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, while representing the brand’s commitment to WOW! customer service. No commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver automotive parts safely and on time, loading and unloading merchandise according to route schedules.
• Provide clear, professional automotive advice and installation assistance to customers.
• Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to maintain strong customer relationships.
• Meet delivery metrics for timeliness and accuracy while following company policies.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or vendors.
• Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
• Process customer payments securely in line with company procedures.
• Stay updated on promotions and product knowledge through AutoZone systems.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to follow AutoZone safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Physical ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong communication skills; bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• Previous experience in automotive retail is desirable.
• Hazmat endorsement is preferred but not mandatory.
