Optical Network Training & Certification Professional

About the role

The Optical Network Training & Certification Professional will design, develop, and deliver cutting‑edge learning assets for Nokia’s optical networking portfolio. You will create courses, labs, exams and self‑paced materials for internal teams and external customers, supporting global rollout and emerging automation topics.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and define detailed learning objectives.
• Specify course, lab, and exam requirements.
• Develop course content, instructor guides, and lab manuals.
• Deliver training sessions worldwide, both remotely and on‑site.
• Define instructor certification criteria and train other subject‑matter experts.
• Create written and practical exams, set grading criteria, and grade lab exams.
• Participate in external workshops, seminars, and events.

Required profile

• Four‑year degree in Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Nokia optical certification (ONP, ONSE, ONDE, ONA) or other recognized optical certifications.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Minimum 5 years in optical network technical support, R&D, PLM, or professional services.
• Minimum 5 years experience developing educational content and delivering classes.
• Hands‑on experience with Nokia equipment and products such as WaveSuite and TNMS.
