Office Clerk II – Collections

About the role

Join MAPFRE’s central office in Hato Rey as an Office Clerk II focused on collections. You will play a key part in processing payments, following up on outstanding balances and supporting the finance team in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the application of payments in the system, ensuring accurate posting and record‑keeping.
• Execute collection activities for clients, insured parties or employers and monitor pending balances.
• Administer service mailboxes and provide timely, efficient responses.
• Prepare and coordinate correspondence to insureds and employers according to business lines.
• Maintain up‑to‑date information and supporting documents related to payments, collections and communications.
• Ensure compliance with response‑time targets and quality standards of the department.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
• 1–2 years of experience in collections, payments processing or related administrative functions.
