NTE Data Center Security Manager – EMEA (Lisbon)

About the role

Amazon Web Services is seeking a highly motivated NTE Security Manager to lead physical security for its Non‑Traditional Environment (NTE) data centers across the EMEA region, based in Lisbon, Portugal. You will be responsible for protecting critical infrastructure, customer data and personnel while ensuring compliance with global security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage on‑site operational physical security for multiple NTE data center sites across EMEA.
• Oversee access‑control systems, guard force management, CCTV monitoring and media security.
• Produce security metrics, conduct audits and generate incident reports.
• Ensure compliance with SOC 1, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 requirements.
• Develop and implement new security processes in line with Amazon policies.
• Coordinate investigations, risk and threat assessments, and vendor performance.
• Supervise security staff and contractors, and build relationships with internal and external partners.
• Collaborate with peers in other regions and travel as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in physical security management for data center environments.
• Strong knowledge of access‑control and CCTV systems.
• Excellent people‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to analyse incidents quickly and make decisive recommendations.
• Willingness to travel across the EMEA region.
