Night Manager – Luxury Hotel (Lisbon)

About the role

The Night Manager leads all hotel operations during the overnight shift at ME Lisbon, a luxury lifestyle hotel in the heart of the city. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and the highest standards of safety, security, and luxury hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations throughout the night, coordinating with all departments.
• Deliver outstanding guest service, handling VIP arrivals, requests, and any issues.
• Lead and support the overnight team, fostering seamless collaboration.
• Perform and supervise the Night Audit, guaranteeing financial accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain safety, security, and well‑being of guests, staff, and hotel assets.
• Prepare operational and financial reports and ensure smooth hand‑over to the day team.

Required profile

• Previous experience as Night Manager, Night Auditor, Duty Manager or Front Office Supervisor in luxury hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of Front Office operations and Night Audit procedures.
• Experience with hotel financial controls and revenue reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Opera PMS/Opera Cloud or similar property management systems.
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Fluent English; Portuguese and additional languages are a plus.
