Network Support Engineer

About the role

IRIUM is seeking a motivated Network Support Engineer to join its Lisbon team. You will work in a hybrid setting, providing technical assistance and ensuring the reliability of client network infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve network incidents and performance issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, configuration, and upgrades of networking equipment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement new solutions and improve existing services.
• Document incidents, solutions, and best practices for internal knowledge bases.
• Participate in on‑call rotations to provide after‑hours support when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in network support or related IT roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex network problems.
• Good communication skills in English; Portuguese is a plus.

Required skills

• CompTIA Network+ certification.
• Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) qualification.
• ITIL Foundation knowledge.
