Murex MRB Developer (Lisbon/Porto)

About the role

Ytech is seeking a Murex MRB Developer to join a Market Risk project in Portugal. The role focuses on installing, configuring, automating and supporting the MRB module of the Murex platform, ensuring smooth execution of risk calculations.

Key responsibilities

• Install and fully configure the MRB module within Murex.
• Set up menus, services and components linked to MRB.
• Manage scenario containers and import scenarios.
• Execute and monitor RUNS, EXPORTS and VaR calculations, including Full Revaluation.
• Develop and maintain Apache ANT scripts for batch automation.
• Provide technical and functional support for MRB‑related requests.
• Analyse incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to improve process stability and efficiency.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience as a developer.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of autonomy and responsibility.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Murex platform, specifically the MRB module.
• VaR calculation processes in Murex.
• Apache ANT for script automation.
• Scenario containers and scenario import handling.
• Batch processing, RUNS, EXPORTS and Full Revaluation execution.
