Mobile Engineer (Android/iOS) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Mobile Engineer to help build BJAK’s AI‑powered Neobank app for both Android and iOS. The role focuses on delivering clean, reliable, and intuitive mobile experiences that support insurance, payments, claims, renewals and broader financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship mobile features for Android and/or iOS.
• Create simple, end‑to‑end mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals and other financial services.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to translate complex journeys into usable mobile products.
• Integrate APIs, manage loading states, handle errors and resolve production issues.
• Improve app performance, reliability, crash rates and overall user experience.
• Support rapid product launches, experiments and iterations across mobile journeys.
• Help define and uphold high standards for mobile product quality.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional mobile development experience on Android, iOS or both.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Swift.
• Proven track record of shipping production apps used by real users.
• Solid product sense with a focus on mobile UX.
• Comfortable working with APIs, analytics, crash logs and production feedback.
• Self‑starter who can own work with limited hand‑holding and thrive in a fast‑growth environment.
• Honest about personal contributions and takes production quality personally.
