Mobile App Developer

About the role

Continental’s Data & Customer Solutions Competence Center is looking for a Mobile App Developer to join the global ContiConnect team. You will work in a Scrum environment, collaborating with backend developers, architects, data engineers and hardware specialists to deliver and enhance digital tire‑monitoring solutions for commercial fleets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and iterate mobile applications using agile principles.
• Refactor existing code and write unit tests in a modern Flutter codebase.
• Design and implement new features for current mobile apps.
• Participate in all product development stages within a Scrum team.
• Collaborate with the hardware team on IoT integrations and BLE functionality.
• Create proof‑of‑concepts for future mobile solutions.
• Define API endpoints together with the backend team.
• Work with UI/UX designers to apply modern design languages such as Material Design.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• Strong knowledge of native Android and/or native iOS development.
• Familiarity with Flutter or another cross‑platform framework is a plus.
• Understanding of micro‑services, cloud (Azure), CI/CD (Jenkins) and version control (Git) is beneficial.
• Experience with third‑party libraries/APIs and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) on Android/iOS is advantageous.
• Fluent business English and good communication skills.
