Mobile App Developer – Digital Solutions

About the role

Continental’s Data & Customer Solutions Competence Center is looking for a Mobile App Developer to join the Digital Solutions IT team. You will work in a Scrum team to develop and enhance the ContiConnect digital tire‑monitoring platform for commercial fleets worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and iterate mobile applications using agile software engineering principles.
• Refactor existing code and write unit tests in a modern Flutter application.
• Design and implement new functionalities for existing mobile apps.
• Collaborate with backend developers, solutions architects, data engineers, and UI/UX designers.
• Work with the hardware development team on IoT solutions, including BLE integration.
• Create proof‑of‑concepts for future mobile applications.
• Define API endpoint specifications together with the backend team.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• Business‑fluent English (written and spoken).
• Team‑player mentality with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Native Android development.
• Native iOS development.
• Flutter or other cross‑platform framework.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with container/orchestrator technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Version control with Git.
• Integration of third‑party libraries and APIs.
• Understanding of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) on Android/iOS.
