Mechanical Engineer – Integrated Sorting & Conveyor Solutions

About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer you will translate customer requirements into integrated sorting and conveyor technology solutions. You will work with our existing product portfolio, create 3D layouts for material flow planning, and support projects from quotation through to customer acceptance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt sorting and conveyor systems based on client specifications.
• Convert material flow plans into detailed 3D layouts that serve as the basis for proposals and supplier inquiries.
• Participate in modernization projects, guiding them from the quotation phase to final acceptance.
• Ensure compliance with design rules and coordinate with controls, product, and simulation experts.

Required profile

• Degree or comparable technical training in mechanical engineering, process engineering or a related field.
• Initial professional experience in plant design and in steel or mechanical engineering for logistic material‑flow systems.
• Fluent English and a confident, customer‑oriented attitude.
• Team player who contributes proactively.

Required skills

• Experience with 3D CAD systems – specifically AutoCAD and Navisworks (advantageous).
