Mechanical Engineer – AutoCAD (m/f/d)

About the role

Körber Supply Chain – Parcel & Logistics is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong AutoCAD expertise to design and develop innovative conveying technology systems for parcel and mail hubs worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering drawings for conveying technology and related steelwork such as platforms, crossovers, and stairs.
• Analyse layouts, identify faults, and define specific technical requirements.
• Validate technical specifications and produce mechanical design documentation for customer approval.
• Coordinate building interfaces, addressing space, architectural clashes, accessibility, and safety considerations.
• Create and manage installation documentation, handle site problem reports, and support installation and commissioning teams on‑site when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong experience with AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Experience in steel structures and layout design.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment safety standards, e.g., Machinery Directive.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel locally or internationally up to one month per year.
