Mechanical Design Engineer – Porto

About the role

ACE Development & Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its Porto engineering team. You will work under a Lead Engineer to design, configure, and improve machines or machine components, turning customer requirements into reliable, cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new machine parts and refine existing products while meeting time and budget constraints.
• Create detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings.
• Prepare technical documentation required for production release.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality and compliance.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3‑4 years of proven experience in mechanical product or component development.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
