Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

ACE Development & Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its Porto engineering team. You will work under a Lead Engineer to design, configure, and improve machines and components, turning customer requirements into reliable, cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure new machines or machine parts and refine existing products.
• Translate customer specifications into detailed constructions within defined time and budget.
• Prepare technical product documentation and release designs for production.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality and compliance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3‑4 years of proven experience in mechanical product or component development.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, technical drawing, and product documentation.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
• Team‑player with good interpersonal skills and a passion for technology.

Required skills

• Advanced CAD proficiency – preferably Siemens NX.
• Experience with PLM tools – TeamCenter.
