Material Planner / Traffic Scheduler

About the role

Join Forvia as a Central Material Planner / Traffic Scheduler and take ownership of daily material procurement and transport execution. You will ensure that production schedules are met while optimizing inbound and outbound logistics across road, sea and air modes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the procurement process for serial materials, respecting production schedules, minimum stock levels and Service Level Agreements.
• Monitor plan execution, raise alerts and manage risks to minimise impact on production.
• Guarantee that plants receive the necessary materials and resources to meet delivery goals.
• Manage and optimise transport flows, including FTL, LTL and shared loads for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the transport organisation.
• Participate in cross‑functional working groups to solve problems and drive process enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, transport or supply‑chain management.
• First experience in transport operations or material planning is appreciated.
• Strong customer orientation, team spirit and ability to work under time pressure.
• Effective communication in English and at least one additional language.
