Marketing, Communication & Social Media Executive

About the role

The Marketing, Communication and Social Media Executive will support the two Tivoli hotels in Alvor and Carvoeiro, reporting to the General Managers, PR and Brand Directors, and the Algarve Marketing & Communications Manager. The role combines strategic planning, content creation, and agency coordination to strengthen the hotels' brand presence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in defining and implementing the hotel marketing and PR plan under the central team’s supervision.
• Prepare marketing and communication presentations for business reviews.
• Manage the hotel marketing budget, forecasts and payments.
• Act as project manager and main contact for design and PR agencies.
• Develop stationery, collateral and other marketing materials.
• Ensure brand identity consistency across all touchpoints.
• Audit and manage online/offline content platforms.
• Support promotional campaigns, packages and event communications.
• Organise and review photo and video shoots.
• Write copy and perform short translations between English and Portuguese.
• Run the hotels’ social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) – content creation, community management, influencer coordination and META paid campaigns.
• Oversee F&B outlet social media activities managed by a local agency.
• Coordinate PR activities, press releases and press trips.
• Identify sponsorships, partnerships and cross‑promotion opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree or proven experience in Marketing and Communications.
• Strong organisational and priority‑management abilities.
• Strategic thinking aligned with brand positioning.
• Service‑oriented, proactive, autonomous and flexible.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• Creative sense of aesthetics.
• Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, gastronomy or luxury sectors is a plus.
