Manufacturing Process Specialist – Batch Record

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Manufacturing Process Specialist focused on batch record management to join its Gurabo, Puerto Rico site. The role drives continuous improvement across production operations, applying lean and Process Excellence methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and align workflow with customer demand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and execute continuous‑improvement and transformational projects using Process Excellence tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional support groups to reduce costs, minimize inventory, and streamline product flow.
• Develop and maintain current and future‑state Value Stream Maps (VSM) to identify improvement opportunities.
• Prioritize, track, and report progress of projects and initiatives.
• Provide training on Process Excellence methodologies and support certification efforts.
• Conduct statistical analysis to support data‑driven decision making.
• Act as a change‑management agent, utilizing dashboards, scorecards, and visual‑factory techniques.
• Contribute to employee engagement and foster a lean culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in manufacturing process improvement and lean initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to conduct statistical analyses.
• Effective communication and coaching skills to guide project teams.
