Manager, Product Management

About the role

As consumer preference for digital payments grows, Mastercard’s Optimization Solutions team is focused on improving digital authorization performance worldwide. The Manager will lead optimization for top digital merchants, delivering data‑driven insights, collaborating with stakeholders and supporting new solution development.

Key responsibilities

• Perform analysis on global digital authorization data, synthesize results, identify performance drivers and develop recommendations.
• Leverage a data‑driven approach to create actionable insights based on Mastercard products, solutions and operational changes.
• Present data to e‑commerce merchants and banks, highlighting high‑impact opportunities and collaborating on implementation.
• Partner with diverse stakeholders across the organization to solicit ideas, influence strategy and generate buy‑in while maintaining objectivity.
• Monitor progress on engagements and work with Account Management, Product and Customer Delivery teams to ensure timely implementation.
• Track top digital merchant and issuer approval rates, produce regular reports, create best practices and advise regional teams.

Required profile

• Proven track record in product management, product development or consulting, leading initiatives from strategic planning through execution.
• Strong knowledge of digital commerce strategies, authorization, authentication, transaction routing, fraud and chargebacks.
• Ability to perform data analysis, derive insights, and build compelling storylines for internal and external presentations.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with capacity to manage multiple projects with internal and external clients.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and ability to guide difficult conversations to productive outcomes.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, global mindset and passion for using data to solve large‑scale business problems.
