Maintenance Technician (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering and Service Team at Advanced Accelerator Applications, a Siemens Healthineers company. The role supports the production of PET radiotracers in a GMP‑compliant, radioactive environment, ensuring equipment reliability and continuous operation.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively monitor equipment and trigger interventions when needed.
• Support external contractors during production equipment interventions.
• Execute and track qualification of synthesis modules and dispensing systems.
• Assist in investigation and troubleshooting of production issues.
• Alternate with the Site Engineering Lead for phone availability during production runs.
• Manage the autonomous flow of spare parts, tools, and materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized cyclotron bunker and technical area.
• Participate actively in engineering projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support the creation, review, and optimisation of procedures for equipment management in line with GMP and HSE standards.

Required profile

• Technical or industrial apprenticeship (mechanic, mechatronic technician, electrician or similar).
• Strong hands‑on experience with tools and measurement devices.
• Experience maintaining mechanical, mechatronic and electrical components.
• Experience in a radioactive or GMP environment (beneficial).
• Excellent manual, analytical, technical and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office).
• Proficiency in the local language and basic English (oral and written).
