Logistics Manager – Last Mile & Reverse Logistics

About the role

Emma – The Sleep Company is seeking a Logistics Manager to own and optimise last‑mile and reverse logistics across its Southern Cluster. You will drive service excellence, cost efficiency and scalability for both outbound deliveries and inbound returns, supporting the company’s rapid growth in the sleep‑care market.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of last‑mile and reverse logistics performance, ensuring high delivery success rates and customer satisfaction.
• Manage a network of delivery and reverse‑logistics partners, set clear KPIs, and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Identify inefficiencies, conduct root‑cause analyses and implement scalable solutions to reduce costs and improve operations.
• Plan capacity and forecast demand for delivery and returns, preparing the network for peak periods.
• Continuously evaluate and optimise network design, including carrier allocation, routing logic and partner footprint.
• Act as the central liaison with S&OP, Transportation, Warehousing and Customer Experience teams to align priorities and support new product launches.
• Build strong relationships with logistics partners, conduct performance reviews and champion innovation and automation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in last‑mile, reverse logistics or end‑to‑end supply‑chain roles within e‑commerce, FMCG, retail or similar fast‑paced environments.
• Strong sense of ownership with the ability to work strategically and hands‑on.
• Proven track record of managing external partners and delivering measurable performance improvements.
• Highly analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach to problem‑solving.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, capable of influencing across functions and levels.
