Logistics Administrator

About the role

EID, a leading high‑tech defence company in Portugal, is seeking an organised and detail‑oriented Logistics Administrator. The role supports both logistics and international trade operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods and documentation across inbound and outbound shipments while maintaining compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, guaranteeing smooth movement of goods and related paperwork.
• Assist in managing import and export processes, preparing and validating shipping and customs documentation.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, transport providers, regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
• Support the administration of licences and other documentation required for international trade.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement of logistics and administrative processes.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in logistics, administration, import/export operations, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with international shipping documentation, customs procedures, or trade‑related administrative processes.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
