Linux System Administrator

About the role

We are a Portuguese technology consulting firm seeking a skilled Linux System Administrator to join our growing team. You will work on mission‑critical production environments, supporting high‑performance trading applications and contributing to data‑center projects across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers (RHEL, SLES) in production environments.
• Perform OS performance tuning for low‑latency, high‑throughput trading workloads.
• Manage virtualization and container platforms.
• Handle server hardware, data‑center build‑outs and operating‑system migrations.
• Automate infrastructure using Python and shell scripting.
• Collaborate with configuration‑management tools such as Ansible or Puppet (preferred).
• Provide basic Windows and NAS administration support when needed.
