About the role

As a Line Cook at Hotel Rumbao, you will bring the island’s culinary heritage to life on every plate. Working in a fast‑paced kitchen, you’ll prepare traditional dishes such as mofongo and churrasco while maintaining the high standards of quality and consistency expected by our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily preparation lists and follow recipes with precise measurements.
• Cook broiled, sautéed, and grilled items according to standard recipes and guest specifications.
• Inspect, select, and use only the highest‑quality food items for menu preparation.
• Control portion sizes, especially for specific cuts of meat, to ensure product quality.
• Maintain clean and sanitary refrigeration, storage, and work areas in compliance with health regulations.
• Record and monitor temperature logs, cooling, and heating systems.
• Follow all safety, fire‑prevention, and emergency procedures, reporting any hazards or incidents.

• Ability to work quickly under pressure while delivering consistent, high‑quality dishes.
