Legal Counsel – Corporate Law (Portugal)

About the role

Bosch Portugal is seeking a qualified Lawyer to join its central legal team. The role focuses on providing corporate‑law support to Bosch entities operating in Portugal, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to Bosch companies in Portugal, excluding data‑protection, labour and tax matters.
• Identify and assess legal risks linked to business decisions and propose mitigation strategies.
• Conduct legal research and support pre‑litigation activities.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Prepare corporate documentation as required by internal policies and legislation.
• Monitor legislative changes and communicate relevant updates.
• Perform notarial acts such as powers of attorney, document authentication and signature certification.
• Coordinate with external counsel and support litigation and debt‑recovery monitoring.

Required profile

• Law degree with a valid Portuguese bar admission.
• Experience in corporate law, contract drafting and negotiation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret legislation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Portuguese and English.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently and within a team.
