Lead Software Engineer – Display Services

About the role

Join the dynamic Display Services team at Honeywell Aerospace and lead the development of core display applications for the Next Generation Avionics platform. You will work in a fast‑paced environment alongside experienced software and systems engineers, delivering high‑quality software that meets certification and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and verify core display software for the Next Generation Avionics platform.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
• Implement solutions that satisfy performance, security, and scalability criteria.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Perform testing and integration on laboratory test benches.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Required profile

• U.S. Person status as defined by export control regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Software Engineering or related).
• Minimum 10 years of software development experience.
• Strong C++ and object‑oriented programming expertise.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Solid software architecture and design skills.
