KYC Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a KYC Analyst to join Airbus GBS in Lisbon. The role supports Airbus in preventing money‑laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions breaches, bribery and corruption by applying KYC policies and acting as the process owner for customer onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Perform timely KYC screening of existing and new customers, analysing corporate structures, shareholdings and identifying UBOs and management.
• Analyse customer financials and origin of funds to detect unusual profiles and potential red flags.
• Gather additional documentation as needed, based on country and legal entity setups.
• Coordinate with Airbus business units and subsidiaries, ensuring structured follow‑up and communication.
• Escalate high‑risk cases to the central KYC team and maintain auditable documentation.
• Monitor customer alerts in the screening tool and support tool upgrades and training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (mandatory); Master’s degree in Law preferred.
• 2‑5 years of experience in KYC, risk or compliance assessments.
• Knowledge of sanctions requirements is a plus.
• Negotiation‑level English required; French, German or Spanish a plus.
• Ability to travel as needed.
