Knitwear Designer

About the role

PARFOIS is seeking a talented Knitwear Designer to shape upcoming collections for both physical and online stores. You will work within an inspiring, creative team, translating trend insights into distinctive knitwear pieces that align with the brand’s aesthetic.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyse current knitwear and fashion trends, creating trend boards that include yarns, textures, techniques, colour palettes and references.
• Design and develop knitwear collections, producing detailed technical specifications such as gauge, stitch count, yarn composition and fit.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Buying and Commercial teams throughout development and production stages.
• Work directly with suppliers and factories to ensure quality, innovation and feasibility of knit development.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in knitwear fashion design.
• Strong technical knowledge of knitwear construction, yarns and knitting techniques.
• Excellent trend awareness and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in fast‑fashion or high‑volume environments.
• Passion for fashion, materials and trend research.
• Proactive, flexible and team‑oriented, with willingness to travel when required.
