Key Account Manager – Plastic Injection Industry (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Key Account Manager with deep experience in tooling and plastic injection molding. The role demands strategic leadership and a commitment to delivering excellence for high‑value clients, ensuring the highest standards of quality, detail, and technical sophistication.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and expand strategic relationships with major automotive and industrial OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
• Manage complex sales cycles from technical prospecting through negotiation and closing of high‑precision tooling projects.
• Provide differentiated technical consultancy to guarantee superior project quality.
• Monitor market trends and performance KPIs, implementing account plans aligned with global technology roadmaps.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients and engineering teams to enhance customization and satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of Key Account Management experience in the tooling/injection molding industry.
• Proven track record managing large annual budgets (€5 M–€10 M+).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence international stakeholders.
• Fluency in English (mandatory); German and Portuguese are highly valued.
• Full mobility for international travel (40 %+ of the time).
