Junior Trade Operations Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Trade Operations Analyst to join our fast‑growing team in Lisbon. You will support the trade lifecycle, ensuring accurate allocation, clearing and settlement while acting as the primary liaison for clients, brokers and counterparties.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for clients, brokers and counterparties on trade allocation and clearing activities.
• Monitor trade flow, ensure timely booking and smooth straight‑through processing (STP).
• Perform reconciliations between internal systems, market platforms and back‑office tools.
• Manage client queries and facilitate communication across internal teams.
• Monitor operational risks and support control processes.
• Execute close‑outs and client exercise requests when required.
• Support business and system improvement projects and market releases.
• Maintain accurate and timely communication via email and phone.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent English.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with data‑management tools such as Power Query, VBA or Python (a plus).
