Junior Software Engineer Internship

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our team through an IEFP internship. You will work on modern, cloud‑native projects, contributing to the development and deployment of micro‑services and APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software components using Java, Python, React or Kotlin.
• Participate in cloud deployment pipelines on GCP or AWS.
• Collaborate with the team following Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps culture.
• Write clean, testable code and ensure performance and quality standards.
• Assist in monitoring applications and troubleshooting issues in production.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Availability for an IEFP internship.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Self‑driven attitude with ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Java, Python, React, Kotlin.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Docker and optionally Kubernetes.
• Jenkins or similar CI tools (nice to have).
• Understanding of Scrum, Kanban and DevOps practices.
