Junior Buyer – Procurement (M/F/X)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join the Purchasing Department at our new Felgueiras manufacturing site. The role will support both direct material and indirect spend categories, ensuring timely and accurate procurement operations that keep production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Create, update and process purchase orders in the ERP system with accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor supplier order confirmations, delivery dates and follow up on overdue orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers, internal purchasing, supply chain and production teams to resolve supply issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date supplier, contract and purchasing data for reliable reporting.
• Track purchasing metrics, prepare reports and provide visibility on key performance indicators.
• Support spend optimisation, cost‑reduction and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the set‑up of purchasing processes for the new site.

Required profile

• Ambitious and structured procurement professional.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with ERP systems.
• Good communication skills to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
