Junior Buyer

About the role

As a Junior Buyer you will join Airbus' central Procurement function (Direct) and support tactical sourcing for a high‑volume portfolio. You will work closely with internal customers, suppliers and cross‑functional teams to secure commercial conditions and ensure smooth order fulfilment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage ad‑hoc sourcing activities and high‑volume RFQ processes for all product types.
• Lead review meetings for specific material categories and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Collaborate daily with Customer Service, Supply officers, Product Management and Planning.
• Contribute to digital tool development, supplier rating, risk assessment and KPI reporting.
• Identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of procurement, sourcing or purchasing experience.
• Strong negotiation skills and a results‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, remote‑friendly environment and travel when needed.
• Fluent English for international collaboration and negotiations.
