About the role
USPliant is looking for a Junior Business Development Manager to launch and grow its sales unit in Portugal. Based in Lisbon on a hybrid schedule, you will promote Pliant’s digital credit‑card solution to businesses, demonstrating how it can reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Research and analyse the Portuguese market to identify promising customer segments.
- Design and execute creative outreach channels and strategies.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients through proactive communication.
- Understand client needs, ask the right questions and propose tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Underwriting and Product Management to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Help define the local go‑to‑market strategy and adapt the product to Portuguese specifics.

- Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in working with customers.
- Self‑motivated, independent and goal‑oriented.
- Open to feedback, eager to learn and continuously improve.
- Passion for FinTech and digital payment innovation.
