About the role

We are seeking a Junior Back-End Developer to join a small, high‑performing engineering team in Lisbon. You will own and deliver core backend services that power our real‑time, high‑frequency data flows.

Key responsibilities

Build and maintain robust, scalable API infrastructure.
Design, optimise, and manage relational databases.
Develop distributed systems with real‑time execution requirements.
Collaborate closely with a tight‑knit team of 3–4 engineers.

Required profile

2+ years of backend development experience.
Strong knowledge of SQL, Node.js, TypeScript and API frameworks.
Proficiency with Git and platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
High standards for code quality and a collaborative attitude.
