Java Support Consultant – French Speaker (Hybrid, Portugal)

About the role

We are seeking a Java Support Consultant who is fluent in French to join our innovative business investment banking project in Portugal. The position is hybrid, based in either Porto or Lisbon, and offers the chance to work on B2B credit applications within an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and resolve incidents on B2B credit applications.
• Diagnose technical issues and propose effective solutions.
• Track support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with both technical and business teams.
• Document incidents and maintain the knowledge base.
• Participate actively in Agile team activities.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in application support or development.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field.
• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Experience with mainframe environments, specifically DB2 querying.
• Strong English and French communication skills (minimum B2 level).
