IT Technician – Bilingual English/French Support

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual IT Technician to provide first‑line support to end‑users in Portugal. You will work within Axians' European Institutions team, handling a variety of hardware, software and network incidents while ensuring a high level of service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, investigate and resolve end‑user requests and incidents via phone, email and chat.
• Own incidents throughout their lifecycle, communicating status and resolution.
• Execute IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Delete) tasks and raise authorization requests.
• Handle both policy‑compliant and out‑of‑policy service requests.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail and customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Troubleshooting PCs, laptops and tablets.
• VPN configuration and support.
• Microsoft Windows 11 operating system.
• Virtual machine concepts and usage.
• Basic networking knowledge and protocols.
• Mobile device and mobile phone service support.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
• Experience with ticketing and CMDB tools.
