IT Risk Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Risk Analyst to join our international team in Lisbon. The role focuses on IT risk management, operational risk assessment, cyber risk, and governance within a highly regulated banking environment. You will work closely with project teams and governance committees to ensure risk considerations are embedded throughout the lifecycle of initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and monitor IT risks across projects, applications, infrastructure, and production environments.
• Perform risk assessments using established frameworks and produce regular risk reports, dashboards, and KRIs.
• Track remediation plans, support incident analysis, and ensure effective mitigation actions are implemented.
• Contribute to risk governance activities, including control plans, risk profiles, and incident reviews.
• Maintain accurate risk records in governance and risk‑management tools.
• Support internal control activities and governance committees, driving continuous improvement of risk processes.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in IT Risk Management, IT Audit, IT Security, or related fields.
• Strong background in the banking or financial services sector.
• Practical knowledge of cyber security, information security, fraud risk, data governance and data protection.
• Familiarity with IT System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and risk assessment abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
