IT Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager with a strong technical background and proven experience in managing technology projects. This role will play a central part in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope and budget, and with the expected quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee medium- to large-scale technology projects.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, from definition through to final delivery.
• Apply and promote Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Act as the primary point of contact between technical and business stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, timelines, and budgets.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure alignment between project objectives and business strategy.
• Produce and maintain project documentation and progress reports.
• Support continuous improvement of project management processes.
• Manage the application release lifecycle, overseeing planning, coordination, validation, version control, and quality assurance.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing technology projects.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies.
• Strong technical knowledge enabling effective communication with development teams.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
• Result‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in release management, including change control and its impact on product consistency.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model (2‑3 days a week at the Lisbon office).
