IT Project Manager – Cybersecurity

About the role

PrimeIT is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead cybersecurity initiatives across international projects. The role is based in Portugal, with flexibility to work from Lisbon or Porto in a hybrid setting. You will be responsible for delivering security solutions that protect the company’s assets and support its rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor cybersecurity projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, including security engineers, developers, and external vendors.
• Manage risk assessments, compliance requirements, and stakeholder communications.
• Report project status and outcomes to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of experience in cybersecurity.
• At least 3 + years of experience managing IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and network security concepts.
• Professional fluency in English and French (C1 level or higher).
• Relevant project management or cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
