International Business Developer – Travel Required

About the role

Liftmould, a Portuguese developer of safety solutions for injection mould handling, is seeking an International Business Developer to drive growth across Portugal and abroad. The role involves frequent travel (≈50‑60% of the time) to meet clients, understand their production processes and propose value‑added solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Visit existing and prospective customers on-site in Portugal and internationally.
• Analyse client production workflows and recommend Liftmould safety systems.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with mold manufacturers and plastic processors.
• Act as a commercial consultant, presenting technical solutions and negotiating contracts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and after‑sales support.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work autonomously.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); French is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings (nice to have).
