Internal IT Auditor – Audit Hub (Lisbon)

About the role

Join the Audit HUB of Volkswagen Group Services in Lisbon as an Internal IT Auditor. You will support the Group’s risk management framework by planning, executing and reporting on IT‑focused audits across various business areas.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare audit plans, work programmes and conduct background research on audit topics.
• Perform field work remotely or on‑site, including document reviews, data analysis, data‑quality assessments and interviews.
• Apply data‑driven procedures to evaluate IT controls, SAP processes and data integrity.
• Draft audit reports, align findings with auditees and follow up on agreed corrective actions.
• Support audit‑related consulting projects and participate in international audit working groups.
• Develop and transfer local audit processes and knowledge to junior colleagues.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in IT, Business Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in IT audit, IT risk management or internal control systems.
• At least one relevant certification (e.g., CISA); additional SAP, data‑analytics or information‑security certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
